Abimbola Fernandez Comes Out As A Lesbian.
Being
into a gay relationship is officially illegal and banned in the Federal
Republic of Nigeria where it is considered a crime and punishable with
14 years in jail. But this has not stopped the daughter of the late
Nigerian billionaire, Abimbola Fernandez from taking the bold step of
announcing her status on social media.
On the 4th of February, 2016, Abimbola Fernandez took to the social media to confess to her being into a lesbian relationship encouraging the LGBTQ community to fly its flag. |
| Re: Abimbola Fernandez Comes Out As A Lesbian by GurlFriend: 10:29am |
According
to reports obtained by Abiyamo, her lesbian lifestyle was a source of
worry for her late father, the late billionaire Antionio Fernandez.
Abimbola is known to many Nigerians as an aspiring musician but her relationship with her father was below stellar and far from impressive. In the snapshot below, she is seen complaining bitterly about him and calling her father ’90 and miserable’: |
The
late Fernandez stood firmly against any homosexual relationship in his
family and his daughter is now trying to paint another picture is
against all he stood for. At no time did he approve of, or accept the
daughter’s lesbianism.
Abimbola insisted she loved her partner and planned to marry her by the time she turned 30. See snapshots below. |
‘Chief got to know of Abimbola’s lesbian partner but only a few weeks to his death. He cursed her and said to us there never to mention her name in his presence again. He cried so hard. It was a distraught time for us all. ‘ |

Crisis hits APC as over 7,000 aggrieved members dump party for PDP
The aggrieved members defected to the PDP in Benue state and vow to channel support for David Mark’s reelection bid while PDP welcomes defectors with open hands.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suffered yet another blow as over 7,000 of its members in Benue state have decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This Day reports that the aggrieved members defected to the PDP in Otukpa, Ogbadibo local government area of the state.
Matthew Ochigbo, a one-time chairman of PDP reportedly led the defectors who also dumped their APC membership cards.
He stated that they were leaving the party for the PDP in order to support the aspiration and wishes of the people of Idoma land, especially for the reelection bid of the former Senate President, David Mark.
The director general of the David Mark reelection campaign organisation, Abba Moro, who received the defectors, hailed the people of the area for their consistent support of the PDP.
“What over 7,000 of you have done today in Otukpa clearly shows that those who recently left the PDP after riding on the crest of the party and the goodwill of Senator David Mark are standing alone even in their own localities.
“The coming rerun election will be an opportunity for all Idoma sons and daughters to move against the wicked plot of some external forces to demean our people.
“It will also be a better platform for us to publicly demonstrate our unalloyed support to a course that holds a better prospect for our people in general,” he said.
In a related development, a mass defection has hit the Rivers state chapter of the APC following the Supreme Court judgment which upheld the election of Nyesom Wike as the Rivers state governor.
The chairman of the PDP in Rivers state, Felix Obuah, who described the defection of some APC members into the party as unprecedented, said the party would welcome back some of its members who left due to fear that the Supreme Court verdict will favour the opposition.

Elderly Man Who Died Having Sex Remains Attached To Partner.
Elderly man 'who died while having sex is wheeled away by paramedics - with the prostitute still attached to him'
WARNING: DISTURBING CONTENT

The duo were presumably taken to the hospital to be surgically separated before the man could then be brought to the morgue.
Dying while having sex, although uncommon, can occur due to the strain of the activity.
This can lead to a sudden cardiovascular attack - something that is more common in males.
People are also able to get stuck together while having intercourse - a rare occurrence known as 'joystick captivus', where the vagina muscles clamp down on the joystick much more firmly than usual.
Dr John Dean, a UK-based sexual physician, previously told the BBC that when the joystick is in the vagina it becomes increasingly engorged.
He said: 'The muscles of the woman's pelvic floor contract rhythmically at orgasm. While those muscles contract the joystick becomes stuck and further engorged.'

Finally the vaginal muscles relax, the blood flows out of the joystick and the man can withdraw.
He said that over the years, several of his patients have discussed their experience of getting 'stuck' - more out of curiosity than because it was a problem, however.
One way in which doctors are able to separate people stuck together is by giving the woman an injection commonly used to dilate the uterus of pregnant women.
It is not known what happened to this particular lady and how she was later separated, however.

Petroleum products to be lifted via rail before March.
Petroleum products in Nigeria will
be lifted through rail before March 2016 according to the MD of the
Nigeria Railway Corporation, Adeseyi Sijuwade and the focus on 2016 is to enhance movement of goods
by rail as before now most goods and products in the country were
transported via roads.
Adeseyi Sijuwade, the Managing Director of Nigerian Railway
Corporation (NRC) on Thursday, February 4 said that petroleum products
will be lifted through rail across Nigeria before March 2016.

Enginner Adeseyi Sijuwade
While briefing the Senate Committee on Transport chaired by
Senator Olugbenga Ashafa, he said that in 2016, the corporation hopes
to begin lifting diesel from Apapa to Kaduna and Lagos while also
improving on its passenger services.
He said: ”The focus on 2016 will be on frieght, we
intend to enhance movement of goods by rail, we are talking about bonded
containers from Apapa.
”We are also looking this quarter at starting the
commercial movement of petroleum products, that is AGO (diesel) from
Oando and a number of marketers from Apapa Lagos to Kaduna and Kano.
”Each of the tank wagons that we have has a capacity of
45,000 liters and the average train will take about 20 tanks so we are
talking about 900,000 liters of oil that will go on every single train.
”We are expecting to have at least for starters, one train per week, going from Apapa to depots in Kaduna and Kano,” he said.
He also said that the NRC hopes to increase its routes for transportation of cement and petroleum products.
He added that the completion of rails and moving of
products through the rail lines will reduce the burden on Nigerian roads
stressing that it was an urgent need.
”There is a need to see a sharp migration from moving
goods through roads to moving goods through rails to reduce the
congestion on our roads. That is our focus for the year 2016,” he said.
In his remark, Senator Ashafa while querying the
corporation’s budget, said that the committee will be in Lagos on Monday
for oversight function.
Meanwhile, Senate president, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki,
on Wednesday, February 3 challenged the management of the Nigerian
Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited to put an end to gas flaring in the
country.
Saraki stated this when the management of the NLNG, led by its

PC National Chairman, Oyegun denies calling for the probe of Supreme Court Judges over their ruling on Rivers state
He said one of his remarks was that the verdict from the Supreme Court judges was astonishing.
"The party wishes to deny this report in the strongest terms. As much as he expressed ‘total astonishment’ over the ruling of the Supreme Court, the National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, never called for the investigation of Supreme Court judges. Indeed, a copy of the statement issued following Chief Odigie-Oyegun’s meeting with the APC delegation from Rivers State was widely circulated. At no time during the meeting or in the statement referred to did the National Chairman make such a call for the probe of Supreme Court Judges. What transpired at the meeting was correctly reported in other media outlets. Given that the author of the Vanguard report was not physically at the venue of this event, but relied on this statement, it is baffling that he gave this slant to the story,” the statement read.
Arms deal: EFCC goes after ex-APC chief Tom Ikimi, questions him.
EFCC has arrested Tom Ikimi for the role he played in the arms deal saga.A source said he has been interrogated for over two days by the anti-graft agency.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested Tom Ikimi, a former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and ex- minister of foreign affairs to late Nigerian dictator General Sanni Abacha.
Sahara Reporters reports that he was arrested for his role in the
$2.1billion arms deal fund which was diverted for other personal uses.
According to an EFCC source, the commission has been grilling the former APC chief at their Abuja office for over two days and allowed to go home each day after interrogation because of his health.
The source said Ikimi was involved in the $2.1billion arms funds scandal and hence his present predicament.
Ikimi was a member of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, which merged with the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and a section of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to become the APC.
He however defected from the APC to support former president, Goodluck Jonathan’s bid for a second term.
Since the investigation into the diversion of $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of arms to fight insurgency during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration started, a number of prominent politicians have been arrested and grilled by the anti-graft agency. Sambo Dasuki, the former national security adviser is at the centre of the saga and since his arrest, startling revelations about how the money was shared among prominent Nigerians have continued to dominate the public space.

Unbelievable! Presidency says Nigerians will starve to death if this is not done
Presidency says Nigerian population will explode to about 509 million in 2050.Informs further that the present rate of farming cannot sustain the populace when that happens and calls for stakeholders’ involvement to improve mechanised farming
Nigerians will starve to death by 2050 if nothing is done to ensure an all year round farming, the Nigerian presidency has revealed.
According to Vanguard, the presidency made this known on Thursday,
February 4, 2016 because with the rate at which the country is growing,
population is expected to rise to about 509 million by 2050 and the
present mode of farming will not sustain the increase.
Nigeria’s minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who spoke during his defence of the 2016 budget on Thursday, noted that there is urgent need for all major stakeholders to work towards improving mechanized farming and irrigation, to ensure an all year farming to avert the problem.
He further averred that the country has the capacity to grow the grass required by the cattle to consume.
“We have written to state governments to encourage them to develop dams and canals so that agriculture becomes an all year round activity and it is not confined to the rainy season alone.
“Besides, by 2050, Nigeria population will be very close to 500 million at the current rate of growth. This is just 34 years from now. If we carry on at the current rate of one crop per year, with very low mechanization, Nigerians run the risk of starving to death.
“We intend to intensify and consolidate on the local staples, the yams, the cassava, the beans, especially rice and wheat. Both of which consume $11 million per day in import. The figure is going down a bit. We can’t afford that in the long run because we don’t even have the resources.
“The ministry has put necessary machinery in motion to stop the constant bloody clashes between herdsmen and farmers. We have decided we are going to develop massive paddocks across the country.
“What the cows are looking for is grass and water. We have the capacity to grow the grass we want not just any kind of grass but highly nutritive grass for the cows to eat. If it can be done in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, there is no reason why we can’t do it here.
“There is sizable provision for grassing at hinterland, by developing water, drilling of boreholes and small dams to irrigate those areas already mapped out. In the process we hope that the cattle herdsmen would have a more stable life,” the Benue chief informed.
He was however quick to decry the state of corruption in the agriculture sector under the past administration, stating that it was rampant.
